What is the Planning Application Interactive Mapping System?
This is an external website which utilises the latest on-line mapping services to allow you to search for new and historical planning applications using the map.

Once an application is located on the map, additional information on the application can be obtained simply by clicking on the ‘pin’ that represents an application. This will take you into the existing Public Access application where you can monitor the progress of an application, submit comments about the application, search a constantly updated list of applications received and decided each week, view details of many historic applications and view property details by reference to a map. You can also register to be informed via email of any new applications near your property.

To access the mapping facility, click on the Interactive Maps button above. Once in the facility, select the information (Planning or Enforcement) that you would like to view.

What is the Planning Application Public Access System?
'Public Access' for planning is an online internet service that allows you to view details including associated plans and documents of planning applications received by the Council. You can monitor the progress of an application, submit comments about the application, search a constantly updated list of applications received and decided each week, view details of many historic applications and view property details by reference to a map.

To access the facility, click on the Public Access button above. Please note the Public Access button will not work between 11.00pm and 6.00am.

Limitations
These services continue to be developed, however at the present time no constraint information is available online. The online planning history contained within the site at present is incomplete and must not be used as a substitute for carrying out a formal ‘Land Charge Search’. No responsibility will be taken for any errors or omissions in the planning history information obtained from ‘Public Access’. Similarly the information contained within Public Access does not constitute in any way a formal notification of a planning decision, and as such any actions taken as a result of information displayed on the site are undertaken entirely at the viewer’s own risk.
