Community Profile and Equality Data
To assist in the production of good quality equality impact assessments, data is needed from a range of sources to make an informed decision.
This section will be updated with further information once it becomes available (we have some data sources outlined in the links in the bottom right hand side of this page).
Other important sources is the Office for National Statistics (website) and the PANSI (Projecting Adult Needs & Service Information) (website) and POPPI (Projecting Older People Population Information) (website).
The Guardian (website) has extracted information from the ONS which illustrates experimential ethnicity data (2009) by hovering over the Horsham District, it is possible to see data for the District.
The EHRC (Equality and Human Rights Commission) produced "How Fair is Britain" report (website) which has extensive information on a range of issues impacting on people who have different protected characteristics (equality strands). Headline statistics from the report have been pulled together and can be found in the equality data section (in the bottom right hand section of this webpage).
