Performance Management
Performance management helps organisations find practical ways of developing the capacity to drive improvements for the future. It is about setting and monitoring the achievements of objectives and getting the right focus, leadership and culture in place.
Why do we need to improve what we do; what difference will it make?
Organisations that work at managing performance know what they need to do it. Therefore, they are much more likely to provide good services to local people. They concentrate on the services that matter most, and are quick to identify problems, find solutions and take action to improve performance.
The measurement of success and effectiveness in meeting our corporate priority targets set out in the District Plan is provided through the Council's Performance Management Framework. Key Performance information which demonstrates corporate efficiency is reviewed by Corporate Management Team monthly, monitored quarterly by Performance Management Working Group.
