Community Engagement
The Cabinet is very keen to work with and have an ongoing dialogue with the District’s communities and to try to incorporate local ambitions within its strategies. We cannot guarantee to deliver all aspirations, especially in the current financial climate, but we would like to know what is important to communities.
In the early stages of building its New Corporate Plan 2011-2015 Parish and Neighbourhood Councils, Community Partnership Groups and local District Councillors were invited to attend a meeting on Monday 5 July 2010 where feedback from the recent Action in Rural Sussex's (AIRS)Review of Parish and Community Plans was presented and the opportunity provided to take part in a discussion about how we take the work forward to strengthen engagement between the District Council and local communities.
Details of the delegates and the communities they represent, the AIRS report and presentation, display maps and feedback from the breakout sessions is listed on this page. Details of future meetings will appear here.
