Horsham District Council owns and manages a limited range of industrial, office and retail premises which are let on commercial terms throughout the district.

INDUSTRIAL UNITS

The Council’s largest industrial estate is on Oakhurst Business Park, Southwater, where it has developed units ranging from 72.00 sq m (775 sq ft) to 1718.70 sq m (18,500 sq ft). This estate was completed in 2003 and has proved immensely popular.

The Council also has units in Horsham which are specifically aimed at starter businesses. These units in Blatchford Close, just off Redkiln Way, range from 46.45 sq m (500 sq ft) to 204.38 sq m (2,200 sq ft) in size. The smaller units were refurbished externally a few years ago and are let at market rents, on flexible terms.

SHOPS AND OFFICES

The Council owns and manages a number of shops and offices in and around Horsham. Most are located in Southwater in the Council’s Lintot Square development, about 4 miles south of Horsham. This major village centre redevelopment was completed in 2006 comprises 19 shops of varying sizes, 6 small office suites, Parish Council offices/library, pub/restaurant and supermarket, as well as 113 apartments.

RESIDENTIAL

The Council does very occasionally dispose of residential property that may either be surplus to requirements or to be sold compulsorily for statutory reasons. Details would be marketed with appropriate Agents at the time.
