Waste Prevention Advisors
Two new training courses will be held in Horsham and Chichester in January 2012 - register now.
The West Sussex County Council Waste Prevention Advisor scheme was set up to support existing waste prevention initiatives in the County. One hundred West Sussex resident volunteers have now received expert training on the need for waste prevention and what they can do to reduce the amount of waste that is generated. These Advisors are now actively promoting waste prevention in their local communities and increasing awareness of waste management issues.
The project is a partnership between West Sussex County Council, Horsham District Council with all other districts in the County and the University of Brighton.
