Wheeled Bins
- To enable effective collections across the District, the Council has specified the size and type of bin and position of your collection point.
- We use wheeled bins for the collection of refuse and recycling– the standard size 140 litre wheeled bin with a green top is for refuse, a 240 litre wheeled bin with a blue top is for mixed dry recycling and a 240 litre wheeled bin with a brown top is for garden waste.
- The bins are the property of the householder. If you are moving within Horsham District, you will need to agree with the previous owner or your landlord whether the bins are left for you.
- If there are no bins at your property you will need to purchase them. Please telephone (01403) 733144 or complete an online order form from this website.
- Label your wheeled bin and baskets in waterproof ink with house number and road name for easy identification.
- We collect the smaller refuse bin every week and the recycling and garden waste bins on alternate weeks. No extra bags of refuse will be taken. If you have any concerns or questions, please call the Customer Care Team on 01403 733144.
