Town centre Cleaning
- The amount of rubbish dropped on our streets has increased by 500% since the 1960s
- Food and takeaway litter has increased the UK rat population to 60 million!
The award winning town centre is maintained by a team dedicated to providing a clean and enjoyable environment for residents and visitors alike.
Horsham District Council will always seek to prosecute for illegal fly tipping where possible and encourages members of the public to report any incidents so that action can be taken. All household waste can be responsibly disposed of through a variety of routes. For advice on how to dispose of rubbish or unwanted items legally and responsibly please call 01403 733144.
Fly-tipping is a crime and fly-tippers will be prosecuted with fines of up to £20,000. If you witness fly-tipping please report this to Horsham District Council on 01403 733144 or via the Fly Tipping Reporting Form or the Environment Agency using their 24-hour hotline 0800 807060.
