Rural Affordable Housing Strategy
The need for affordable housing is particularly prevalent in rural areas. Our villages are in danger of becoming exclusive enclaves for the wealthy. Young people that have grown up and schooled in the villages are moving away, leaving essential local services unsustainable. The Rural Affordable Housing Strategy has been formulated to address housing need in the rural areas of the District.
