ICT Senior Technical Support Analyst (Temporary Post for 12 months) Ref - BS/877
Salary: £29,236 - £32,800 p.a.
To provide adaptable and professional technical expertise in supporting the CenSus ICT infrastrcture service and it's delivery of services in supporting core infrastructure technologies.
(Based initially at the Adur District Council Offices but, due to the planned closure of these offices during 2012, the base for the remainder of the contract will be at the Worthing Borough Council Offices.)
Horsham District Council is working proactively in partnership with several other West Sussex local authorities (the CenSus Partnership) to provide a shared ICT infrastructure and support service.
We have an opportunity for a hard working and self motivated individual with a proven in depth ICT technical background to join our current team of ICT professionals.
You will be involved in providing ICT support for the implementation of ICT technical solutions and solving problems.
We require an experienced technician with in depth Technical experience gained from working within the ICT industry. The person appointed is required to have the following essential technical experience; a good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Windows server, Windows XP professional operating system, Active Directory administration, excellent Microsoft Exchange knowledge, Vmware, LAN and WAN networking skills. Experience of Citrix and Firewall security would be an advantage.
Due to the nature of the work and responsibilities required it is essential that you can demonstrate the skills required to work in a small team in a pressurised environment.
