Leisure Futures Study

PLANS to provide for future leisure provision in the Horsham District are to be considered by Councillors.

Following debate at a Cabinet meeting on 24 November, all Horsham District Council's Councillors will soon discuss the findings of a detailed Leisure Futures Study, which has been produced to help assess the quantity and type of leisure provision in the district's 205 square miles, taking into account the planned population growth in the area.

Members of the Council will also be asked to consider recommendations about future leisure provision in the district on the basis of the study's evidence.

Read a message from Cllr Jonathan Chowen, Cabinet Member for Arts, Heritage and Leisure at Horsham District Council, dated 20 December 2011

A copy of the study is available to download below. The study and accompanying report will be discussed at the meeting of full Council on 21 December. The agenda for this meeting can be found on the agendas page.
