Art Galleries
A new Art Gallery and a separate Arts and Crafts Gallery are now on offer in Horsham Museum and Gallery, with many of the objects for sale either on site or by auction. The Museum itself can be considered a work of art as it is housed in a medieval timber-framed merchants house with 26 galleries and exhibition spaces and two walled gardens. Temporary exhibitions take place throughout the year so do check their website for more details. The Capitol (see above) also exhibits a rolling programme of local art in its gallery space on the first floor.

West Sussex Library Service Local Societies and Organisations
This database gives details of over 4,000 local clubs and organisations in the West Sussex area. Here you can find a wide range of clubs and societies from knitting to karate, Scouts to Scottish dancing, fishing to flower arranging and lots more.
The database is also a good way of publicising your own group. If you represent an organisation that is not currently included in the database, you can ask for a form at any West Sussex Library or print off a New Entry Form from the Library Service website.
