The Horsham District has a vibrant and cultural community that hosts a year-round calendar of events and entertainment to suit all tastes and budgets.

2012 will be a special year for events across the nation. Plans are being made as we speak to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee with beacons and street parties around the extended weekend of 2,3,4 and 5 June, and of course for the major celebrations around the London 2012 Games in the summer.

Horsham Town Centre - Events Listings
For details of specific events in Horsham town centre please click on the links in the box on the lower right of this page. For a summary list of events see our 2012 Horsham Town Centre Events programme.
Horsham boasts an active events programme throughout the year including special celebrations for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the Olympic Games. Look out for a Horsham Day of Dance in May, European-themed markets and special entertainment, a Jubilee Jamboree Tea Party and Beacon park event in June, a summer carnival "Sparks In The Park" in July, a District-wide Food and Drink Festival and a music festival in September and a Town Centre Festival in the Autumn Half Term. There are also free holiday fun sessions for children, and weekly free bandstand concerts in the Horsham Town centre every year.

Themed Market Entertainment
Horsham town centre hosts regular local produce and farmers markets throughout the year including some very special events when the market days are boosted by extra entertainment including live music, street theatre, dance, competitions, games and much more. Look out for the Italian-themed Piazza Italia over the Easter weekend featuring spectacular displays of fast Italian super cars and motorbikes, a Medieval market in May as part of the annual day of dance, a Jamboree Tea Party in June for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations in June and a spectacular day celebrating Horsham District Food and Drink at The Big Nibble in September. www.horshammarkets.co.uk

Free Outdoor Concerts in Horsham
Free outdoor concerts are played on Horsham's Carfax bandstand, and Horsham Park Podium, on each weekend from April to September. There are also free concerts on the Carfax bandstand on the four Saturdays before Christmas to help Christmas shopping go wth a swing! All outdoor concerts are free. Summer - Free Toddlers Entertainment in Horsham Park
Horsham District Council provide free children’s entertainment in Horsham Park on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons throughout the Summer Half Term and August. Held on the Park's Podium, next to The Conservatory Café, there are two sessions on each of these afternoons, 2.00 p.m. and 3.15 p.m., each show lasting approximately 45 minutes. September - Horsham District Food and Drink Festival
A highlight of the year for food and drink lovers is the Horsham District Food and Drink Festival throughout September, celebrating the quality and diversity of local seasonal produce with an abundance of special events and great deals. The event kicks off with a massive 'Big Nibble' food and drink event in Horsham Town Centre on Saturday 1 September.

Autumn Half Term - Horsham Town Centre Festival
Horsham's annual Halloween Town Centre Festival attracts thousands of visitors to the town centre each year. The three-day event runs from Thursday to Saturday during the October Half Term week. A fantastic range of family entertainment is on offer including a traditional turn-of-the-century fun fair which fills the town centre with festive fun, live music, comedy street theatre, as well as spooky Halloween entertainment, competitions and special offers for people of all ages to enjoy.
