Summer Sounds in Horsham's Carfax - Free
From May to August each year you can enjoy free concerts on the Carfax bandstand.
The concerts take place on Saturdays at 12noon and 2.30pm.
The performances range from Brass to Jazz to contemporary  - music to suit most tastes! Please download the programme at the bottom of the page for more details.

Summer Sounds in Horsham Park  - Free
Visit Horsham Park on Sundays between May and August and enjoy free bandstand concerts on the Park Podium every afternoon at 2.30pm  - except during the Horsham Garden Music Festival (see below).  Download the Park Podium Concert Programme 2013 below for more details.

Whilst in the Park why not make a day of it, discover the dragon sculpture in the centre of the maze, visit the wildlife around the pond and enjoy some light refreshments, cooked meals or ice creams from the Conservatory Cafe.

Horsham Garden Music Festival 2013 FREE Concerts
Taking place in the new Human Nature Garden. From 3pm – 6pm.

  • Sunday 7 July – Folk and Acoustic concert
    Folk and acoustic event featuring Mailman, Cotton Candy Rebellion and The Pickled Lilies.
  • Saturday 13 July – Young Musician Showcase
    An opportunity for young musician’s to showcase their talent. Performers will include The Collyers Jazz Band, Josh the National Junior Harmonica Player of the year and Thomas Holder with a musical medley.
  • Sunday 14 July – Jazz, Blues and Soul
    This year’s event will include Swing Bee, the Holder Quintet and Saviours of Soul.
  • Saturday 20 July - World Music concert
    Similar to last year this event will again feature groups with disabilities and the three who will be performing are Boom Tribe, The Coasters and the Samba-X Project. The event will be rounded off by the popular barbershop group The Sussex Harmonisers.
  • Sunday 21 July – Rock concert
    This very popular event will this year feature Paper Jam, Half Hour Hotel and Torch

During the intervals children from the Lemon and Lime theatre group will perform excerpts from The Owl and The Pussycat.

Launch Event - Horsham Prom in the Park
Sunday 30 June. Tickets £8 each.
Promenade concert featuring the Slinfold Concert Band playing tributes to our Armed Forces and leading the ‘Last night of the Proms’ style finale. Cantatrice ladies choir will entertain with a wide repertoire of popular songs, and back by popular demand Horsham’s Diva Dianne Walters will lead the community singing.

Chidren's Fun - new for this year's concerts programme: The Lemon and Lime theatre group will be running arts and crafts workshops at all five free concerts. There will be a small charge for children aged between 4 and 10years to participate in constructing objects from recycled materials that will be displayed on the open stage during music intervals.

Christmas Concerts in the Carfax
Have a break from the hustle and bustle of Christmas Shopping and enjoy a superb range of festive, classical and popular music on the Carfax Bandstand every Saturday in December until Christmas. All concerts are free of charge and are organised by Horsham District Council
