Children enjoying a Holiday Playscheme

Fun activity programmes take place all year round for children throughout the Horsham District and especially during the children's holidays.

These include 55 play areas across the District, lots of different sporting activities and supervised excursions, arts, dance and hands-on activities, as well as free children's fun sessions in Horsham Park for the under fives.

Check out details via links on this page or in the lower right box.

Look out too for our special events programme including Horsham's Sparks In The Park - a great day out for all the family this summer in Horsham Park, and a 3-day Autumn Half Term Town Centre Festival.

Summer Holidays
Horsham District Council organise a wide range of activities for children during the summer holidays, offering lots of fun ideas from African drumming workshops to football training camps, countryside camps to dri-slope ski-ing and other great days out.

Free Toddlers Fun Sessions in Horsham Park
Back by popular demand, Horsham District Council are providing free toddlers' fun sessions for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons throughout the Summer Half Term and August in Horsham Park. Held on the Podium in Horsham Park, next to The Conservatory Café, there are two sessions on each of these afternoons, 2.00 p.m. and 3.15 p.m., each show lasting approximately 45 mins. Parents should remain with their children.

Other activities to enjoy in Horsham Park include the extensive children’s play area just in front of The Pavilions In The Park swimming and leisure centre, and the Children’s Maze - but look out for the dragon!  Please check the links in the right margin for details of other activities.
