Allotments

John's Allotment

An allotment can allow you to grow your own flowers and tasty vegetables. At the same time you can benefit from good, healthy outdoor exercise and have the satisfaction of eating the produce, knowing exactly what has gone into producing it. In addition you can meet other gardeners and share experiences.

Allotments in Horsham District are provided by a number of different organisations. There are 11 Horsham Town allotments; 3 controlled by the District Council and 8 by individual Allotment Societies. There are also 12 Horsham District allotments managed by the relevant Parishes.

Due to the popularity of our allotments many of the sites have waiting lists. Please contact the relevant allotment if you would like your name to be added to the list.

General advice on running an allotment is available in leaflet found at the bottom of this page. For advice on organic gardening, contact Horsham Organic Gardeners on Tel: (01903) 742419.
