Summer Activities for Children
Look out for a bumper pack of activities on offer for children over the summer holidays:
- Sports sessions, introductory courses and summer camps including tennis, football, cricket, netball, golf, mountain biking and more.
- Supervised excursions including paintballing, archery, abseiling, ice skating,wall climbing, and visits to Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventure.
- Hands-on fun at local museums - look out for dinosaurs, Egyptian 'mummies', puppetry and more!
- Watersports, including windsurfing, sailing and kayaking.
- Outdoor Action with camp building, walks and talks, fieldwork and bushcrafts!
- Holiday games at local leisure centres including aqua-splash, trampolining, team games, arts and crafts, playschemes and more.
- Film fun at The Capitol, Horsham.
- Free toddlers’ fun sessions in Horsham Park.

In previous years a full colour Summer Action Pack booklet was produced and distributed across the District. In order to keep costs down last year the booklet was changed into a newsletter-style list of activities which can be downloaded online.
