Management Plan

General Information
Horsham Park is a haven of green space with a lake, trees, wildlife and colourful flowerbeds. The Conservatory Café is an ideal spot to stop for refreshment and to listen to concerts, on the nearby podium.

Park House Garden within the Park is a tranquil yet formal sensory garden designed with the disabled and visually impaired in mind.

For those wishing to be more active, there are tennis courts, a "Trim Trail " round the perimeter (1.9km / 1.2miles), a Permanent Orienteering Course, a very popular bowls green and a skate park.

Entertainment
During the summer holidays a series of free events are on offer for young and old alike:  At weekends in the summer there is a programme of free Sunday bandstand concerts on the Podium whilst for young children there is a dragon-guarded maze, an extensive landscaped play area, and free children’s entertainers who perform on the Park podium throughout May and August.

Horsham Park also plays host to some special larger scale events which take place every summer, including KidzStuff - a Family Fun weekend at the end of May - a funfair in July and Horsham's Big Day Out also in July which includes a colourful carnival procession, more funfair rides, live music, arts and crafts and sporting activities, community stalls and taster sessions, as well as a SkatePark competition for the older teenagers.

The Pavilions In The Park leisure centre on the edge of the park offers indoor and outdoor swimming all year round, as well as health and fitness suites, a cafe, and a large indoor children's adventure play area.

Friends of Horsham Park
Horsham Park is supported by the Friends of Horsham Park, a local volunteer group whose purpose is to conserve and enhance the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of the park; to influence and promote opportunities for the public to understand and enjoy the park.
