FUN FOR CHILDREN
Fun activity programmes take place all year round for children throughout the district and especially during the children's holidays. These include Playschemes across the District, a 3-day Autumn Half Term Town Centre Festival, sports camps, summer excursions, and arts, dance and drama activities, as well as free childrens fun sessions for the under fives and special events such as ParkFest - a great day out for all the family every summer in Horsham Park. Summer Holidays
Look out for the Summer Action Pack, a free 40-page full colour booklet published in mid-June each year, offering lots of fun ideas for children across the Horsham District during the summer holidays, from African drumming workshops to football training camps, to dri-slope ski-ing and other great days out. This is sent free to every young school child and is also available at information centres and Council help points. Free Children's Fun Sessions in Horsham Park
Back by popular demand, Horsham District Council are providing free children’s fun sessions for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons throughout the May Half Term and August in Horsham Park. Held on the Podium in Horsham Park, next to The Conservatory Café, there are two sessions on each of these afternoons, 2.00 p.m. and 3.15 p.m., each show lasting approximately 45 mins. Parents should remain with their children.
Other activities to enjoy in Horsham Park include the extensive children’s play area just in front of The Pavilions In The Park swimming and leisure centre, and the Children’s Maze - but look out for the dragon!
