Leechpool and Owlbeech Woods near Horsham are open all year and are free to enter. They are particularly notable for their contrasting wildlife. They can be explored through self guided trails of one and two miles, and a 320 metre easy-going, surfaced path from the car park.
The woodland scene is ever changing through the seasons providing year round interest.
Leechpool is an ancient woodland covering 53 acres (21.4 ha.) and includes Oak, Ash, Hazel, Hawthorn, Holly, Blackthorn, Sweet Chestnut and Scots Pine.
Owlbeech consists of 55 acres (22.26 ha.) of remnant heathland which is being encouraged back to its former glory, supporting a rare selection of flora and fauna.
