IN BLOOM
2007: The Horsham District is a Winner!
Britain in Bloom:
- Horsham Wins Gold Achievement Award in the Best Small City/Large Town, plus the RHS Bloomin’ Wild Award.
South East in Bloom:
- Horsham wins Gold Achievement Award in South East in Bloom Best Small City/Large Town.
- Upper Beeding wins Large Village: Silver Standard.
- Steyning wins Small Town: Silver-gilt Standard.
Horsham District is well represented within 'In Bloom' with entries and prize winners every year that the District was entered.
This impressive tally is thanks to everyone from individual gardeners tending their own garden to the corporate sponsors who provided funds for some of the more ambitious displays. All of these efforts are co-ordinated by the local 'In Bloom' committees and are supported by Horsham District Council's Parks Services Unit.
