Sunday 6 July, 12noon to 5pm,
Horsham Park

Make a date in your diary now and do not miss out on ParkFest 2008 - Horsham's finest summer event. Last year's event was cancelled due to poor weather, but preparations are well under way for an action-packed event in 2008.

Horsham Park is set to come alive with a varied mix of music and entertainment alongside a funfair, outdoor games, arts and crafts, face painting, and animals, plus stalls from local organisations and charities.

Star of Cbeebies’ Tikabilla and Higgledy House, Sarah-Jane Honeywell will be joining us to kick of the spectacular arena show at 12noon which this features not one, but two amazing performing groups.

Junkanoo a thirty-piece costumed carnival percussion orchestra from the Bahamas has chosen Horsham for the European premier of their energetic show. With extravagant costumes and a unique blend of drum, brass and whistle sounds, the infectious carnival atmosphere they create is sure to spread across the whole Park!

The London Chinese Acrobats are also sure to entertain spectators with exciting performances of lion dancing, beautiful and colourful ribbon dancing and amazing displays of martial arts and acrobatics.

There really will be something for everyone, and with free admission and on-site parking, there truly is no better way to spend a summer Sunday afternoon!
