Summer Action Pack
Every year Horsham District Council produces a full–colour 28 page Action Pack booklet brimming with ideas for fun things for children to do during the long summer holidays. The booklet is distributed by the end of June to all children up to school year 8 via their schools. Telephone: 01403 215263.

Horsham's Big Day Out
Sunday 19 July 2009 11am to 6pm
In an explosion of international street theatre, live world music, creative workshops, a giant funfair, and food and craft stalls, Horsham's Big Day Out fun day will bring Horsham Park to life! The 2009 event coincides with the Big Lunch, a national celebration aimed at encouraging people to eat, drink and be merry! So bring a hamper full of treats or sample some of the culinary delights on offer from the onsite food stalls. The event culminates with the Big Splash Carnival, a lively procession of samba drumming, costumes and dance through the streets of Horsham and ending in a big carnival party in the centre of Horsham Park.
