COMMUNITY LINKS

West Sussex County Council provides a Library Service of Local Societies and Organisations across the County. The database gives details of over 4,000 local clubs and organisations in your area. From the County Council's website, you are able to find a wide range of clubs and societies from knitting to karate, Scouts to Scottish dancing, fishing to flower arranging and lots more.

The database is also a good way of publicising your own group. If you represent an organisation that is not currently included in the database, you can ask for a form at any West Sussex Library or print off a New Entry Form from the County Council's website.

The West Sussex County Council contacts all clubs and societies on an annual basis in order to update the database.

Part/full copies of the database can be purchased - for more information please visit the County Council's library pages.

Local Sports Clubs
If you cannot find the club that you are looking for in the County web-based database we have collated a list of the main clubs in the Horsham District.

If you would like to know where you can take part in a Horsham District leisure activity, or want help to set up a local club in your area please contact the Leisure Link team at Horsham District Council. Leisure Link support existing clubs, groups and facilities through the provision of advice, help with funding applications, equipment loan or the delivery of activity sessions directly. We also work in partnership with groups and individuals to develop and establish new opportunities where possible, specialising in providing opportunities for specific groups such as young people, 50+, people with disabilities, or people living in sheltered housing.
