ENJOY SUSSEX PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
Calling all photographers!
The Enjoy Sussex Partnership is on the lookout for favourite photographic views of the Enjoy Sussex region to be used to help promote the area to new visitors. Local residents, whether amateurs, club members or professionals, are invited to send their favourite images of where they live, or even to head out into the countryside to take some new photographs.
All successful photographers will have their images accredited in tourism marketing produced by the Enjoy Sussex Partnership including the Enjoy Sussex Visitor Guide 2009 and the Enjoy Sussex website http://www.enjoysussex.info/. There will also be a prize draw of a £250 camera equipment voucher for one successful contributor.
A wide range of photographs are needed, from landscapes to action shots, photographs of local produce, wildlife and people enjoying what the Enjoy Sussex area has to offer. Portrait images are particularly welcome. All images should be of a high enough quality to allow enlargement to A4 size (300dpi/ 4 megabytes).
Closing date for entries is 26th August 2008.
The Enjoy Sussex Partnership includes the areas covered by the Lewes, Horsham, Mid Sussex and Wealden District Councils whose officers work together to promote the area as a visitor destination for the short break market. Copies of the 2008 Enjoy Sussex Visitor Guide are available from the following locations: Horsham Tourist Information Centre, Lewes Tourist Information Centre, Seaford Tourist Information Centre, Burgess Hill Tourist Information Centre and East Grinstead Tourism Desk (EG Library) or you can request a copy here.
Enjoy Sussex Photography Competition Terms:
Eligibility
The competition is open to amateur and professional photographers and groups who are resident in the Enjoy Sussex area (Districts of Lewes, Mid Sussex, Horsham, and Wealden).
Application Entry:
There is no charge for entry into the Enjoy Sussex Photography Competition.
Payment:
There will be no payment for any photographs entered into the competition.

Please note the terms on application form below.
Photograph Size/ Format
Portrait size are particularly welcome. Please ensure that images are at least 300dpi, maximum 5 megabytes to ensure quality image can be enlarged to 210 x 297mm (A4). Negatives will be accepted. Please ensure that any emails sent are not larger than 5 megabytes in total.
Photograph Labelling
All photographs submitted must be clearly labelled as follows:
- Description/ place listing of image
- Name, address and contact telephone number/ email of entrant.
Usage and credits:
Any selected photographs will be used in Enjoy Sussex tourism marketing and images will be accredited accordingly.
Required Forms
The following form must to be submitted with the photographs: see attachment below.
We regret that The Enjoy Sussex Partnership will not be able to return any digital images/ negatives/ or other formats submitted to this competition.
Prize
The Enjoy Sussex Partnership will judge the photos. All selected photography entrants will be submitted into a Prize Draw to win £250 worth of camera equipment vouchers.

Tuesday 26th August 2008, 12 noon.
