PREPARE TO TAKE YOUR TASTE BUDS ON A TERRIFIC TOUR!

IF you’re passionate about food and drink and discerning about where it comes from, then you’re in for a real treat.

The eighth annual Horsham District Food andDrink Festival gets underway on Saturday 4 September and runs for four weeks to 3 October, a month long celebration of all the wonderful local food and drink from the Horsham District.

This year’s Food andDrink Festival programme is bigger than ever with 40 pages crammed with over 100 incredible events, fantastic offers and simply gorgeous local food and drink, brought to you courtesy of the participating businesses, with something for everyone!

The festival is organised by Horsham District Council, with sponsorship from Camelia Botnar, Freedom Food, Spofforths, West Sussex County Council, Federation of Small Businesses, Wabi, Spirit FM, Chichester College Brinsbury Campus, The Resident and Foundry Press. Without the generous support from sponsors and participating businesses, the Festival would not be possible, so a BIG thank you to all.

To whet your appetite, the Food andDrink Festival kicks off on Saturday 4 September with the legendary ‘Big Nibble’, a brilliant one day free event which guarantees to draw the crowds. The Big Nibble is a massive farmers’ market in the Carfax, Horsham town centre, incorporating the regular Saturday Local Produce Market.

Come and meet the local producers, be entertained at the cookery theatre, where local chefs will be cooking up some fantastic food throughout the day. The ever popular Beer Trail will be running all day – your chance to visit local pubs and try out some of the fabulous local beers on offer.

You don't want to miss out on anything so you need to get your hands on a copy of the festival programme! This is the definitive guide that includes the full calendar of events, the tastings, the tours, the many offers and the contact details of every single business participating in the festival. You will need to have it with you when you are out on your travels as many of the offers ask that you show the programme to qualify!

The message is clear: get the programme, get your diary out and prepare to take your taste buds on a terrific tour! Call Horsham District Council on 01403 215529 to get a programme or visit www.horshamlocalproduce.co.uk to download a copy. The programme will also be available in libraries and participating businesses.
