This Council is required to include an adopted Proposals Map in its Local Development Framework, which explains geographically the adopted policies and proposals of the Development Plan Documents.
The adopted Proposals Map reflects the most up-to-date spatial plan for the District and so is revised when new policies and proposals are adopted. Inset Maps have been prepared at a larger scale than the Proposals Map to show certain areas in more detail. The area that the Inset Maps cover is shown precisely on the Proposals Map.
The adopted Proposals Map is available in paper copy for inspection and is also available in an interactive online map to enable it to be easily updated when new policies and proposals are adopted. The Proposals Map was updated most recently in December 2007 to take into account the adoption of the General Development Control Policies DPD. An introduction (43kb) to the Proposals Map is available.
The interactive map is a service which continues to be developed. No responsibility will be taken for any errors or omissions in the maps caused by technical problems. Similarly, the information contained within this Proposals Map does not constitute in any way a formal or informal planning permission, and as such any actions taken as a result of information displayed on the site are undertaken entirely at the viewer’s own risk.

There will be no button between 11.00pm and 6.00am
