During consultation on the General Development Control Policies Development Plan Document (published for consultation in September 2006), some respondents suggested alternatives to the policy boundaries contained within the document.
The Council published these Alternative Policy Boundaries in November 2006 to allow anyone to make comments on these suggestions.
The alternative policy boundaries identified in the document were those put forward to the Independent Inspector by respondents to the Submission Document; they were not changes put forward by the Council.
They are proposals that are not currently included in the General Development Control Policies Document; however, the respondent(s) consider they should be included in the document before adoption. The Council will not itself decide whether these changes should be made; that will be a decision for the Inspector.
The consultation period ended on 15 December 2006 and the final number of ‘Duly Made’ comments was 29.
The details in this report are for your interest only. The representations will be made available to the Inspectors through the Programme Officer and will be considered at the Examination into the General Development Control Policies Submission document.
