Over the last year a steering committee including representatives of the three Neighbourhood Councils, North Horsham Parish Council, and the Horsham Society have been working together, with the support and advice from Horsham District Council, to produce a Design Statement for Horsham town. The document builds on the Neighbourhood Character Assessments prepared by the Neighbourhood Councils in 2005, augmented to include Holbrook and Roffey within North Horsham Parish, and comments received following a successful public exhibition in Swan Walk last spring.
A copy of the Draft Design Statement is available to view online. Hard copies can be viewed at Horsham library ‘Help Point’ or Horsham District Council Offices. The Statement has been subject to a period of public consultation, which ran from 25 April 2008 - 30 May 2008. All comments received during this period will be considered in preparing the final version of the statement.
