This page is designed to help you with any questions you may have regarding the use of our online payment facility.

Currently, you can only pay a Council Invoice and a Car Parking Ticket. More services will be available for payment in the near future.

The fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
Telephone number and e-mail address are both optional, but supplying an e-mail address will enable the system to send you a receipt of your payment electronically.

Once the payment details have been entered, along with name & address details, you will be shown a confirmation screen which will summarise the information entered, and what you are about to pay for.
Please check all the details on the screen to ensure that they are correct, before proceeding to the payments screen.
If any of the details are incorrect, click on the appropriate link at the bottom of this page to correct.

Confirm payment.
Your payment is now in a state to be processed. When you press the PAY button you will be transferred to our banking partners at Royal Bank of Scotland . They will ask you to enter your card details and will then process your payment request. Once this has been completed you will be transferred back to us, where you will see the results of your payment, and will be able to obtain a receipt.
A payment reference number will be displayed on the screen. Please make a note of this as you will need to quote this if you make an enquiry.
Ensure that you have a card ready to enter the details from. The scheme will only accept cards from VISA, MASTERCARD, DELTA, SWITCH and SOLO.
Royal Bank of Scotland as part of their security precautions, will check the address of the card holder. You will be requested to check the address entered to ensure that it matches the address of the account holder. If in doubt consult the last statement received from your card issuer. Amend as necessary.
You will then be transferred to the Bank of Scotland secure website where your card details need to be entered.
No card details are held by Horsham District Council.

Enter Card Details.
Select which card you intend using for payment, by clicking on the appropriate card logo.
Enter your sixteen digit card number, along with the expiry date. Some cards will also request an issue number to be entered.
Once you are happy that the details have been entered correctly, click on the PAY button.
The system will then check with the card issuer to ensure that the details entered are correct and that the payment can be accepted.
If accepted, the system will return you to the Horsham system, and display a receipt for the payment.

View and print receipt.
The receipt will detail the payment you have just made.
Use the button at the bottom of the screen to print off the receipt, to keep as a record of the transaction.
If you have any questions about the transaction, the receipt contains a telephone number and an e-mail address of the department to contact.
When contacting the appropriate department, please remember to quote the reference number that is displayed on your receipt.
