Children Get Set for an Action Packed Summer

Hundreds of children are invited to get set for an ‘Action Packed’ summer with the publication of this year’s eagerly awaited Summer Action Pack – a free full-colour 28 page guide to what’s on offer for children across the Horsham District this summer.
Published by Horsham District Council the guide offers something for everyone, including:
- Exciting sports activities, introductory courses and summer camps including tennis, football, golf, cricket, table tennis and more.
- Supervised excursions with the Leisure Link team including paintballing, quad biking, go-karting, archery and abseiling, and visits to Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventure.
- Museum fun with free exhibitions, teddy bear picnics, creative arts activities and hands-on sessions exploring dinosaurs, Egyptian 'mummies' and more.
- Watersports activities, camp building and local excursions with the Countryside Crew.
- Trampolining, aqua-splash and crazy games at Steyning Leisure Centre.
- Take Time Out for sports, games and competitions at Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre and The Pavilions In The Park.
- Junior golfing skills at Rookwood Golf Course - just pay and play.
The little ones will have plenty to keep them occupied as well including a wide range of summer playschemes across the District plus free toddler’s fun sessions in Horsham Park, three days a week, every week, throughout the holidays.
The Summer Action Pack will be distributed from late June to every school child in the Horsham District up to school year 8. Free copies are also available from libraries and leisure centres across the District, Horsham Visitor Information Centre (in Horsham Museum) and from Horsham District Council.
