State of the District debate 2004

A 'STATE of the District debate' is to be held to discuss Horsham District Council’s progress in meeting its objectives.
As part of annual report on the Council’s performance, this year’s State of the District debate will be held in two locations in the Horsham District, as follows:
- Tuesday 19 October, 6.30pm for 7pm-9pm, The Studio, The Capitol, Horsham
- Thursday 21 October, 6.30pm for 7pm-9pm, Drama Studio, Steyning Grammar School, Upper School, Shooting Field, Steyning
Entry is free and open to everyone.
Discussion will focus on the Council’s performance in the last year and its plans for the next. It will also give a health check on the Horsham District.
An item of special debate will be the Council’s recent local taxation consultation, which asks if local taxes are fairly applied across the Horsham District.
Representatives from community groups, business, social services, health and the public are all welcome.
