Dear Santa......

Dear Santa,
This year for Christmas I would like:
A Merry-go-Round, A Rag Doll, A Teddy Bear, and some Doll’s furniture.
I saw some of these the other day when I went to Horsham Museum and met the volunteer ‘toy team’ getting toys and games out of the attic to mount an exxhib exibit.... show. I don’t mind, Santa, if they are not brand new. I would love to have a well-worn dog on wheels, just like Woody from Toy Story – someone loved by his owner, but now grown out of.
I'm going back to the Museum when Santa’s Workshop opens on 7 December as they have got lots of old toys to see. The toy team told me that some of the toys date back to the 1800’s, I think this was one of the three bears and others, like the soldier skittles are so worn you can see how much they were loved. Also, Santa, could you send one of your elves down to Horsham as some of the toys need a little mending? Others are brand new and ready for the sleigh.
Thank you for reading my letter and when you come on Christmas Eve I will be sure to leave out the mince pies and a carrot for Rudolph.
