Enjoy Sussex in 2007 - A Guide for the Visitor
21st December 2006
A wealth of information about the wonders of rural Sussex promoting Horsham, Mid Sussex, Wealden, and Lewes Districts is published in the new 2007 Enjoy Sussex Visitor Guide.
The free glossy brochure, including details of nationally quality assessed accommodation and attractions in a series of individual A5 guides, gives visitors and residents alike an insight into the host of activities and places to visit in the region, which stretches West to East from Pulborough to Burwash, and north to south from Horsham to Birling Gap.
It also boasts some of the best environmentally-friendly accommodation in the South East with some accommodation being awarded Gold status for their participation in the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
The guide has been produced in partnership by Horsham, Mid-Sussex, Lewes and Wealden District Councils and features more than 30 attractions and 110 “Nationally Quality Assessed” accommodation providers.
Tourism plays an important role in improving the Horsham District’s local economy. This guide will help to bring new and repeat visitors to the area, bringing in more income and supporting local jobs. The guide is practical, informative, attractive and easy to use.
Copies of the complete guide are available free of charge from ‘Enjoy Sussex Tourism’ by calling Tel: (01271) 336173. The individual A5 guide inserts entitled ‘Horsham and South Downs’, ‘Self Catering’, ‘Lewes and South Downs’ and ‘Ashdown Forest to Seaford and South Downs’, are available from Horsham Museum and Tourist Information Centre (Tel: 01403 211661, email: tourist.information@horsham.gov.uk), and Tourist Information Centres (“TIC’s”) across the Enjoy Sussex destination area including Lewes TIC, Seaford TIC, Wealden TIC and Burgess Hill TIC.
