Afternoon market for Southwater
12th April 2007
A SPECIAL local produce market is being put on in Southwater on Friday 20 April.
Anyone wanting to take a surprise home for the weekend is invited to come along to the open air market.
Goodies on sale include fresh bread, local pork, pies, olives, honeys, jams and pickles, chocolate and more.
For those intending to spend time in the garden at the weekend, there will also be a selection of good value plants on sale.
Southwater’s Lintot Square is also home to a number of shops, which will also be open most of the afternoon.
If the market is successful at this time of the week, it might be continued on a regular basis.
Southwater also has a regular and popular local produce market every Tuesday from 9am-2pm.
The village of Southwater is found three miles south of Horsham town and there is easy access by road from the A24 at the Hop Oast roundabout.
