FREE food safety courses for the voluntary sector – book now!

FREE food safety courses are being offered to people who prepare food in the voluntary sector.
Horsham District Council is keen to provide both formal and informal food hygiene training and advice to people working in the voluntary sector in the Horsham District who prepare or cook food for other people, especially people in vulnerable groups.
A programme of free to attend one day (6 hour) food hygiene training courses will be held each month in Horsham and at village locations starting in October 2007.
The one day courses will be run by Horsham District Council’s Chartered Institute of Environmental Health registered trainers.

The following dates/venues have been booked for running Foundation Level food hygiene courses for voluntary workers as part of Horsham District Council’s Food Standards Agency funded food hygiene initiative. The course lasts one day (6 hours).
