New cafe at Warnham Nature Reserve
20th September 2007
FOLLOWING a major refurbishment to the café and visitor centre at Warnham Nature Reserve in Horsham delicious new range of hot and cold refreshments can now be experienced by everyone.
Now enjoying extended opening hours, the café is open all year round from 10am to 6pm and serves organic, home cooked, locally produced lunches, cream teas, cakes, snacks and light refreshments – a perfect way to end a relaxing few hours at this 17 acre millpond, meadows, and woodland; a true haven for wildlife very close to Horsham.
October is the perfect time to try out the new café as there are great events planned in the Nature Reserve. On Sunday 7 October discover the amazing world of mushrooms and toadstools with a local expert at the ‘Fungus Foray’, and enjoy guided walks, and bird feeder workshops on Sunday 28 October at the popular ‘RSPB Feed the Birds Day’.
October also marks the beginning of the ‘Horsham Nature Photographer of the Year’ exhibition which will be displayed until December 2007.
