Architects find new competitive advantage
13 February 2008
RDjW Architects based in Crawley are benefiting from a close working relationship with Sussex Building Control.
And the company says that the two way relationship that now exists between the two organisations is helping to improve its customer service and competitive advantage.
RDjW Architects deal with a wide range of building types and projects in the leisure, education, retail, residential, industrial, commercial and community design sectors.
An important part of the company’s work is to ensure that designs can be turned into reality when construction begins, not least when it comes to building control regulations.
The success of a design is important in not only appearance but construction and the details that need to be addressed.
James Simpson from RDjW, explained in more detail:
“It is vitally important that all of our building designs can be turned easily into reality at the construction stage and that all building control regulations are met in full.
“Issues such as energy efficiency and structural soundness cannot be ignored and must receive the highest priority in all of our work.
“By working closely with Sussex Building Control we have an understanding to complete projects to the highest standard and without delay.
“There is efficiency in having a single point of contact who is familiar with RDjW and can work with us on any project in the country.”
Sussex Building Control provides building control services for both Horsham District Council and Crawley Borough Council.
