Carfax Bandstand
At Easter and through the Summer Horsham District Council organises a free bandstand programme on the Horsham Carfax Bandstand.  Bands will play every Saturday providing morning (11am – 1pm) and afternoon concerts (2pm – 4pm).

The season starts on Easter Saturday 22nd March with a special performance by the ever-popular operatic performers Boheme from 10.30am – 1.00pm, followed by the Institute Jazz Band from 1.30 – 3.30 pm. Bands will continue to play every Saturday throughout the spring and summer until 20th September.

All the favourite local bands will play, such as The Revivals and New City Jazzmen, whilst popular bands such as Slinfold Concert Band will be returning to perform, as well as The Copthorne Silver Band, Mid Sussex Brass Band and others.

Horsham Park Podium
Free Sunday afternoon band concerts on the Park Podium in Horsham Park start on 4th May with Crawley Millennium Concert Band and continue throughout the summer until Sunday 31st August.  Performance times are from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

Popular bands such as the Lingfield Silver Band and the Band of the Royal British Legion will be playing, as well as the Salvation Army Band, Saxophony and others.  Refreshments are available at the nearby café in the park, The Conservatory.

Leaflets showing the band concert details are available from Horsham District Council Offices, Horsham Tourist Information Centre, Horsham Library and other leisure facility outlets.  Any band interested in playing on either bandstand at any other times should contact Sue Franks.
