Discover Some Great Offers at Your Local Leisure Centre as Part of 'Strive for 5 Week'

During a special ‘Strive for 5 Week’, starting on Saturday 26th April and including the early May Bank Holiday weekend, six leisure centres across the Horsham District are organising special activities, discounted events and free open days to encourage all members of the family to get together and discover ways to get active, have fun and feel great this summer.
Why "Strive for 5 Week"?
The name is drawn from the "5 a day" slogan devised by health experts who are encouraging us to eat five fruit and vegetables a day as part of a drive towards better health. But did you know that a balanced and healthy diet goes hand in hand with a fit and healthy lifestyle? Exercising FIVE times a week for 30 minutes a day can make a real difference to your life – you’ll feel great and look even better! You could start with a brisk walk or a gentle jog, but why not try something more fun and exciting?
Many people think of their local leisure centre as just a place to work out in the gym or go for a swim. However whilst many people benefit from state of the art gym facilities supervised by fitness trainers, there is so much more available for both young and old, including fitness classes, community sports clubs, children’s after-school clubs, senior activity sessions, dance, yoga and martial arts, under-fives groups, holiday activities and more!
