Enjoy Free Guided Bike Rides This Summer

Free guided bike rides are now on offer across the Horsham District this summer to encourage people to enjoy the Sussex countryside in a fun and active way.
Storrington
Off-road rides on the South Downs are available from Storrington for all abilities, arranged by South Downs Bikes. The rides are the first Tuesday evening of the month (6.30pm) and the last Sunday morning of the month (10am). Meet at the South Downs Bikes shop – 38 West Street, Storrington. Thursday 5 June: Off-road, St. Leonard’s Forest, Horsham.
Meet at Roosthole car park, 6.30pm, duration 2 – 2 1/2 hrs
Beginner / Intermediate
Sunday 12 July: Off-road, South Downs.
Meet at Amberley Station, 11am, duration approx 3 hrs
Intermediate / Advance
Sunday 10 August: Mixed on/off-road, Horsham/Broadbridge Heath/ Southwater
Meet at Horsham Carfax bandstand, 10am,
duration approx 3 hrs – Beginners / Intermediate
Friday 29 August: Mainly off-road, Horsham/St. Leonard’s Forest/Wimland
Meet at Horsham Carfax bandstand, 6.30pm, duration 2 -2 1/2 hrs

Please Note:
Crash helmets must be worn on all guided bike ride as well as appropriate clothing for the weather conditions. Cyclists should bring a spare inner tube, high energy snacks and a drink.
