Council Meeting cancelled
3 June 2008
THE Council meeting scheduled for Wednesday 4 June has been cancelled.
Cllr Gordon Linsday, Cabinet Member for Finance and Assets at Horsham District Council has withdrawn the report on the Drill Hall which was scheduled for consideration at the Council meeting tomorrow (4th June) in order to be able to:
- provide more information for Members on the scope and costs of the works; and
- to give further consideration to the timing of the proposed works.
As a result of this and in the light of the views of the two Group Leaders, please note that the Chairman of the Council has decided to cancel tomorrow's Council meeting as there is now no substantive business to be transacted.
