Horsham French Fest 08 arrives
25 June 2008
A sea of blue, white and red awaits visitors on Friday 4, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 July...
Horsham’s now famous FrenchFest is set to bring an authentic French market and an exciting array of attractions, promotions and entertainments to Horsham Town Centre on Friday, Saturday and Sunday NEXT WEEK – the 4,5 and 6 July.
The entertainment line-up over the weekend includes Musketeers, Musicians, mime artists, Napoleonic re-enactors and the chance to try your hand at Petanque (or boules), with activities planned right across the town. A special feature of this year’s FrenchFest is the huge number of local businesses who are getting into the ‘joie de vivre’ with free samples, promotions and special offers for visitors over the weekend.
Full details will be in the festival programme to be distributed in next week’s West Sussex County Times and Crawley Observer and to be made available online at http://www.frenchfest.co.uk/
As with previous year’s Horsham FrenchFest encourages visitors and local students to practise their French language skills with the traders and special FrenchFest stickers will be handed out to those who try their linguistic skills.
