Battle of the Bands applications released

APPLICATION forms for Horsham Battle of the Bands 2008 have been released.
Dates for this year’s competition are 14, 28 September 5, 19, 26 October with the grand final being held on Friday 31 October – Halloween.
All Original Heats will be held at The Drill Hall, Denne Road, Horsham, and the final will once again the grace the Carfax Bandstand as part of the Town Centre Festival.
The Acoustic Heat will be held on 12 October and the Covers Heat on 9 November. Both of these will be held at The Holbrook Club in Horsham.
As usual, the winners will receive a wodge of cash and a day in 811 Sound Studio plus have their name inscribed on the Graham Ansell trophy; there are also free bags of kudos for everyone taking part.
Applications are available from QM Studios and Horsham Music or can be downloaded from www.hdlma.co.uk
The deadline for application submission is Friday 29 August.
