Essential maintenance to planning records
3 September 2008
HORSHAM District Council’s electronic planning records will be temporary unavailable this coming weekend whilst essential maintenance is undertaken.
The database system which stores all the records is being upgraded.
The project is being undertaken at a quiet time of year and much of the work will be done outside office hours, but inevitably there will be some disruption to services whilst the switch takes place.
The online Public Access System on the Council’s website, which allows users to view details and associated plans and documents relating to planning applications received by the Council, and the Licensing Public Access system, will not be available from 1pm on Friday 5 September until 5pm on Monday 8 September.
In addition, the Council’s mapping services use the same information and will be affected too.
The mapping service in the reception of the Council’s Park North offices in Horsham will not be available on Monday 8 September.
No property searches can be undertaken on Monday 8 September.
For similar reasons, the Local Development Framework Proposals Map will not be available online from 1pm on Friday 5 September until 5pm on Monday 8 September.
The Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by this essential project.
