ENFORCEMENT - CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE
Enforcement of the regulations governing parking places within the Controlled Parking Zone will be carried out by Horsham District Council Parking Attendants. Parking Attendants will patrol all parking spaces and check whether parked vehicles are displaying valid parking permits, or pay and display tickets.
Motorists who park longer than their paid period in a charged bay will receive a Penalty Charge Notice, currently £60, discounted to £30 if paid within 14 days. Non-payment will lead to court action being taken.
Motorists who park in a charged bay without displaying a valid pay and display ticket (or permit where appropriate) will receive a Penalty Charge Notice, as will motorists who park in a permit holders only bay without displaying a permit.
