WORKERS' PARKING IN HORSHAM TOWN CENTRE

There are a number of parking options for full and part-time workers in Horsham:

  1. Horsham’s car parks
  2. Hop Oast Park and Ride
  3. Season tickets
  4. Controlled Parking Zone permits

Part-time is defined as someone working less than 5 days a week.

Charges do not apply on Sundays or Bank Holidays.

1. Town centre car parks
Better value options for those working less than 5 days a week:

  • Hurst Road car park (max. 5 hours)
  • Swan Walk car park
  • Forum, Blackhorse Way car park
  • Piries Place car park (max. 4 hours)

2. Park and Ride
In addition to the town centre car parks, Hop Oast Park and Ride is located in Worthing Road, near Hop Oast roundabout. The daily cost per car, including driver and four passengers, is £1.50.

3. Season tickets
(a) Long stay users
Horsham workers using long-stay central car parks are able to buy season tickets. Charges are as below:

London Road Essential User Permit
London Road Essential User permits are available to all businesses operating within the town. Permits may be issued where it can be demonstrated that Park and Ride would not be appropriate. Please be advised that due to the limited capacity within the car park a waiting list may be in operation.

(b) Part-time workers
Season ticket are available for part-time workers at the Forum Blackhorse Way and Swan Walk car parks, at a proportion of the full tariff. Part-time season tickets are valid for any days of the week and are purchased in blocks of 5 days at a time up to a maximum of 25 days.

4. Controlled Parking Zones
A limited number of permits are available for certain roads within Horsham’s controlled parking zones. These can be purchased for three or six months at a proportion of the £150 annual fee. Some controlled parking zones are available to motorists on a pay and display basis.
