ANTI-SOCIAL DRIVING

Did you know that as well as abandoned vehicles, you can report any of the below offences through the Operation Crackdown website?
- Speeding
- Thoughtless driving or riding
- Under age drivers or riders
- Drink or drug related driving or riding
- Tailgating
- Mobile phone use
- Vehicles in an unsafe condition
- Untaxed cars or motorbikes
If you see someone driving in an anti-social manner, or spot an abandoned vehicle it is important that you
- Pull over safely at the side of the road, or ask a passenger to write down details
- Vehicle make, model, colour and number plate will all help enquiries
- When noting the location, use house numbers or shop and road names to pinpoint where the incident happened, or where you spotted the vehicle
- Write a brief description of what you saw, while it is still fresh in your mind
Once you have made your report - either online through the Operation Crackdown website or by telephone on 01243 642222 – your information will be analysed and appropriate action will be taken.
You can also report an Abandoned Vehicle on the same website.
