Christmas in Lintot Square:

Events will start with a bang when 30 members of Christ’s Hospital School Band will lead Father Christmas into the square, not on a sleigh but a fire engine! Father Christmas will formally open the festivities together with a visiting 'secret celebrity' before retiring to his grotto in Beeson House ready for the children to visit him. Other bands will be playing throughout the day, including the welcome return of Black Star, playing music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.
A Christmas 'Find the Santa' competition is also being organised so watch out for details; many prizes donated by local businesses.
The day will end in traditional style with a torchlight procession of local school choirs to lead the closing carols around the tree. More attractions are in the pipeline!
