Journey to Work

Journey to Work is Horsham District Council’s long running and successful employability programme. Working in partnership with Jobcentre Plus, we help unemployed people through challenges they may be facing in their lives, and support them on their Journey to Work.

Journey to Work can help you by offering any or all of the following:

  • One to one support and mentoring
  • Benefits and careers advice and guidance
  • CV and work skills development
  • Job search assistance
  • Work experience opportunities with employers
  • Additional support required to help get you work-ready

Our Journey to Work success

Since Journey to Work started in January 2012, we have supported nearly 1000 job seekers in various ways. These include improving confidence, helping with financial challenges, providing work experience placements and helping search and apply for jobs. In the past 8 years, Journey to Work has helped nearly 500 people find work.
